NPSC: Nagaland Public Service Commission was embellished in the years of 1965 with a composition of one chairman and two members. Currently there are one Chairman and four Members. In 2007 the strength of members of the Commission was augmented to 4 members.

Eligibility Criteria for NPSC Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:
• For Agriculture Officer & Agriculture Inspector: Candidate should pass B. Sc Agriculture.

• For Demonstrator: Candidate should pass Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electronics & Electrical Engineering or B.Sc Chemistry (Hons)/ Physics (Hons) or Class X with ITI certificate in Plumbing & Electrician.

• For Asst. Conservator of Forest: Candidate should pass Second class Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil or Chemical Engineering or Agriculture or B.Sc / M.Sc (Forestry)

• For SDO & Jr. Engineer: Candidate should pass Degree in Civil Engineering or 3(three) Years Diploma in Civil Engineering or above from a university/board recognised by AICTE.

• For Junior Soil Conservation Officer: Candidate should pass B.Sc (Agri/Horticulture), Soil &Water Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or Forestry.

• For Technical Assistant: Candidate should pass M.Tech/B.E/B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering/Electronics Engg/ IT from a university recognised by AICTE/UGC.
