Karnataka Forest Department Recruitment Notification 2018 Sports Persons 54 Posts: The Karnataka Forest Department invites applications from eligible meritorious sports person for the posts of Deputy Range Forest Officers cum Surveyor, Forest Guards and Forest Watchers in the State. Last date for submitting application form is 17 February 2018.

Education Eligibility
Deputy Range Forest Officer cum Surveyor
a) Should posses Graduation in the subjects of Forestry / Agriculture / Horticulture /Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science/ Fisheries or Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least one of the following subjects namely; Botany / Zoology / Wildlife / or equivalent from a recognized University.
OR
A Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least one of the following subjects namely; Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Agriculture / Chemical / Civil / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Environment Science / Computer Science / Computer Applications of a recognized University / deemed University / open University under UGC Act, 1963.
Forest Guard: Must posses PUC or equivalent qualification
Forest Watcher: Must posses SSLC or equivalent qualification
Age Limit (Age proof SSLC/10th Marks Card)
Deputy Range Forest Officer cum Surveyor: 18 to 25 years (SC/ST/Cat-1: 30 years, Cat-IIa/IIb/IIIb: 28 years)
Forest Guard: 18 to 27 years (SC/ST/Cat-1: 32 years, Cat-IIa/IIb/IIIb: 30 years)
Forest Watcher: 18 to 30 years (SC/ST/Cat-1-33 years, Cat-IIa/IIb/IIIb-32 Years)
Physical Standards
Male
Height: 163 cms, Chest: 79 cms (5cms expansion when breath up)
Female
Height: 150 cms, Chest: 74 cms (5cms expansion when breath up)
Application Fee: Fee to be paid through online. After submission of application online take printout of application and pay the fee and service charges at Post Office which has E-payment facility.
i) For General Merit, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB the application fee is Rs.100 plus service charge Rs.15 plus GST.
ii) For SC/ST and Category-I the application fee is Rs.50 plus service charge and GST.
